Jan 21, · Observations from a recent glacial geomorphic reconnaissance coupled with cosmogenic nuclide dating indicate that in the lower part of the Rayner Glacier, Enderby Land, ice heights lowered by at least m and the calving margin retreated by at least 10 km in the early Holocene (~6 to 9 ka B.P.).Cited by: 3. Bathymetric, sidescan sonar, and high-resolution seismic data indicate that the shelf off Mac. Robertson Land, East Antarctica is deeply eroded by glaciers and currents. Basement is exposed over wide areas. Data available include MCS and kHz obtained by Stagg () in (see O’Brien et al, this volume, for details).Cited by: 1.
